The judges
included Sarah Cornelius of the Joshua Foundation,
Glyn Wise of Big Brother fame, Alex Jones, TV
Presenter, Huw Rhys S4C’s fashion editor,
Mike Phillips, the Wales and Osprey’s rugby
star and Claire Evans, Miss Wales 2005.
Joining Kelly Pesticcio in the top
three were Sarah Walters from
Swansea as First Runner-Up and Yasmine
Baig from Cardiff as Second Runner-Up.
This year the Miss Wales competition
raised more than £50,000 for the chosen
charity the Joshua Foundation which exists to
ensure children with terminal cancer and their
families can have days out and excursions together.
Paula Abbandonato, PR Director of
Vibe Models, said: “We are thrilled with
our winner and delighted to have raised so much
for charity at the same time.
It’s been a very exciting
year and we wish her the best of luck at Miss
World later this year.”
