When I first entered Miss Wales I had no experience in doing beauty pageants, not a lot of confidence and really didn’t know what I was getting myself into. However, this experience has been unforgettable so far and the finals haven’t even started. I have met so many kind, down to earth and genuine girls on my journey and this experience gives you friends for life. I recommend to anyone that you should try something different, something that scares you and you will be very surprised with the outcome at the end. I have grown as a person, become confident and have learned that I can surprise myself and be someone I’ve always dreamed of becoming. You not only help yourself in Miss Wales you help many people while you are involved. You raise money and start to think about those less fortunate and realise that looks aren’t everything in a beauty pageant, as some may think. It’s about being someone people can relate to, being an ambassador for your country and most importantly being the best version of you, you can be. I am very fortunate to have received such incredible support from my family, friends and community and I am eternally grateful to have been a part of raising money for Beauty With a Purpose. To whoever is reading this, you can surprise yourself too and discover a person within yourself you never even knew. Someone who confident and truly gifted. Coming through this experience I have enjoyed every second and have loved every minute and every girl in the running to be Miss Wales 2016 would be a perfect fit, and I am so glad to have shared this journey with you.
