With the finals of Miss Wales approaching fast, I’m reminded of all the amazing and fun opportunities the competition has given me. For example, I attended a Masarati event in Cardiff to help raise money for a charity that help women who are dealing with breast cancer. I also got the opportunity to appear on scrum V with nine of the other finalists and I got to meet the lovely Emma Jenkins who was the winner of last year’s Miss Wales. I have loved organising different fundraising events for ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ such as a charity evening I held in Cowbridge where I had various bands performing. It was a great night and I raised £250 for the charity. Another memorable moment experience was picking my dress for the final. I tried on a variety of dresses all shapes and styles to find ‘the one’ for me and now I’m looking forward to wearing it for the final. I’ve loved every minute of doing Miss Wales – it’s helped so much with my confidence and taught me to believe in my self a lot more. What an amazing journey it has been. I have met a bunch of amazing girls and made some life long friendships. So for me 2016 has has been a great year so far and I can’t wait for the finals.
