The Miss Wales Charity Ball
The Miss Wales Charity Ball was one of the biggest nights in the
history of the Miss Wales competition with the announcement that
the 2009 Miss Wales finalists had generated more than £100,000
for children with terminal cancer. The evening's Beauty With A
Purpse Award went to Miss Rhondda Cynon Taff, Ceri Booth, while
Miss Cardiff, Kathryn Lane, was also acknowledged for her tremendous
fundraising total. The chair of the Miss World empire, Julia Morley,
joined us for the occasion along with Miss World 2009, Ksenia Sukhinova
from Russia. Another surpise for the evening came when Miss Wales
2008, Chloe-Beth Morgan, was promoted to Miss UK by the Miss World
Organisation for doing the best of all the UK contestants in Miss
World.
