Best wishes to the new organisers and to all the contestants in the Miss Wales 2004 contest. I had a wonderful year in my capacity as Miss Wales in 1981, travelling to Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and Morocco which led to a career in the travel industry. I will not be able to join you on 9 September but would like to wish you all a terrific evening.
