Proud to be in awards line up
Vibe is celebrating this month having
learned that four client campaigns have been short listed
by the Institute of Public Relations in the PRide Awards.
The awards – a first for Wales –
recognise excellence in regional PR and have been introduced
to Wales this year on the back of the surge in public relations
activity being seen in the Principality.
The Vibe campaigns include Miss Wales 2003
where the Vibe team worked with the Miss World organisation
to resurrect the beauty pageant; Terrific Trevithick –
a campaign on behalf of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council
to promote the bicentenary of Richard Trevithick; the Greens
of Southern Wales – a golfing programme for Capital
Region Tourism; and A Fair Price for Care on behalf of Care
Forum Wales which looks at the under funding of the care sector.
Paula Abbandonato said: “Having yet
to complete a second year of business, we are thrilled to
be competing so well against some of the more established
agencies.”
The winners will be announced at
a gala dinner in November 2004.
