Tabitha Ganda – 2007 Finalist
"Being part of such an established
competition has been one of the most positive experiences
of my live, giving me the confidence to reach out for
my dreams. It gave me a few months of my life that I
will never forget and it was so satisfying to know that
I played a part in raising £55,000 for The Joshua
Foundation, a charity that will stay in my heart forever.
I met some amazing people who made a valuable influence
on my life, and I would like to thank them all for making
the competition so special. I would tell any girl who
has aspirations of winning Miss Wales – shoot
for the moon, even if you miss you’ll land among
the stars." |

Anna Lauchlan – 2006 /2007 Finalist
"The journey I embarked upon when
I took part in the competition was not only unexpected
but like a roller coaster of experiences and excitement.
From the word go it was unforgettable and I feel I boosted
my teamwork, leadership and confidence extensively.
Just getting to where I did made me proud and instilled
within me a confidence I had found difficult in finding
all my life in just a few weeks. I would like to thank
the Miss Wales competition for giving me that opportunity
to build on this skill that has helped me come so far
and tackle those goals I had never dreamed of pursuing." |

Caryl Howells – 2007 Finalist
"Being a part of the Miss Wales
competition has been a massive experience I will never
forget. I never thought I could do anything like it.
I’ve always been part of a team and doing this
on my own I’ve proved to myself that I’ve
got the confidence to achieve anything in life. I’ve
met some amazing girls and made friends for life working
with The Joshua Foundation. I can honestly say that
we have made a difference to so many children’s
lives. I’m so proud of everyone. Thanks for an
incredible experience." |

Nikesha Patel – 2006 Finalist
"All the advice you have given
me has changed a majority of my life since last year
and I really appreciate it. It has made me a very strong
and graceful person within myself, also it has given
me an insight into charity work and fundraising which
I believe is a very important thing in life. If it wasn’t
for competitions like this out there charity work wouldn’t
be as much recognised and I want to thank you all. At
the moment I am busy with my film in India. Half of
the money will be donated to a charity out there of
the producers choice. Honestly from the bottom of my
heart if it wasn’t for your advice last year I
would never of had this in mind, so thank you once all
again." |
